One Night To Be Confused.

Just a quick video, felt it was time I updated everyone.

Again, quotations. They mean a lot to me. Certain people will know what I mean and feel about these quotes. It's been an annoying past few weeks, very up and down. Being unsure what to think.
For those who may be going through a patch like that, this is for you. Everyone has a propersition in life. Whether that be a happy hacker, or a Grand Prix rider. Equestrian is one of the toughest sports in the world, and not many people take this into account. These mamals we ride, were wild. We have taught them, gained their trust. But remember, they still have their own mind.
We will all go through a rough patch at one time in our lives, those who avoid it are the mistake. And those who face their fear, as long as it may take and as hard as it may seem, will always come out for the better. Never, ever give up.

It is still to early to state whether Dee will get any better or any worse. Initially, the vets said she could be worked as usual, then they said she had to be walked out for two weeks.
That meant that today, she could have her first trot since being diagnosed. However, Dee being Dee decided to turn this 'trot' into a unstoppable canter across a field. Someone's feeling bright!
I'm going to school her tomorrow, do about ten minutes of trot work, then have a canter on each rein. See if I can notice anything. If she's all good, I hope by the end of next week, she could pop a small fence.

Cruise is great. Turning very cheeky! Just trying to get him fitter by doing lots of 'cross country canters' as I hope to do a British Event in just over a month.
Galaxy is proving promising, his canter is a lot more consistent, might end up taking him to a Pony Club rally next weekend, if I am made to go..

LOVE this version of Heartbeats.I really hope things will turn out well with Dee for you - she's got so much talent, I know exactly how you feel about the rough patch. My mare is so accident prone we've spent nearly £300 in vets bills over the past two weeks, for completely different problems! It really makes you realise how much they mean to you, how you'll do anything to make them better! xxx

Thats the only downfall on horses, the expense. Luckily Dee's unsured, and the bills so far are around £1,500. It's a lot. But I will do absoloutly anything, to ensure my horse is as comfortable and as happy as possible. Even if it means they have to graze out in the fields for the rest of their lives :)

Kate, you're so inspirational, such a down to earth and genuine person, and you're honestly incredible! after everything you've been through with you're horses, you always come back fighting! i have my fingers crossed for you and dee, you deserve none of this!
