In June 2011 Nick Hunter and his team Nick Newell, Dazza Ratchford and Tom Raper will be setting a new "guiness world record" by canoeing the Yukon River in Canada and Alaska to raise funds for charity's Help for Heroes and Marie Curie Cancer Care. This trip will take the team into some of the most remote and rugged wilderness in the world. The journey starts from Atlin in Canada and the team will negotiate the river for some 3185km to Alakanuk a remote town in Alaska by the Bering Sea. The trip is estimated to take up to 60 days.
