Danny Boy by Eva Cassidy

So many singers, unknown as well as famous, have unsuccessfully sang this Irish song. I admit this is a hard song to sing but to me, this version by Eva Cassidy is perfection if ever there is perfection. I don't believe anyone can sing this song as beautifully and with as much sincere emotion as Eva.

A note I wish to add on Nov1, 2007, for those who do not know, tomorrow Nov 2, 2007 is the 11th anniversary of Eva Cassidy's death 11 years ago.

Im 81 years old and I discovered Eva about a year ago just after my wife of 60 years died . When she sings Autumn Leaves it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. How sad that she didnt have the opportunity to enjoy her success. Life sometimes seems unfair but God will someday make all things right.
