  • Dusty, i can't justify whaling as i am opposed to it, but my moral standpoint has nothing to do with the way i view this collision.

Spaz, Jetboats CAN go in reverse by re-directing the thrust by way of deflector plates, those same plates allow a jet boat to turn virtually on the spot. That doesn't matter, because the EarthRace was a twin screw not a jet, i doubt SS changed that when they got her. Twin screws should afford a tight turning circle, but there is no evidence of a turn in the AG wake

  • I love seing ady gil being destroyed!! hahahaahahaah!!!!

  • Basic rule of the sea: the larger vessel always has the right of way as they are less maneuverable. They were just there to pester the dirty Jap whalers anyway so they got what they deserved. Mess with the bull you get the horns boy. Next time bring a bigger boat.

  • how come these people are so concerned with saving the whales?

What do whales eat? Synthetic protein? They eat other living things. Why are they not out trying to save the plankton?

Life is not fair, never was, never will be. When you grow up you will understand this.

  • The Ady Gil wasn't dead on the water. the prop(s) is/are still running. This looks more like a PR stunt rather than an "accident"

  • O co tam jde??To je síl ten náraz

  • If one of them people would have fell in the water , the prop of the ramming ship would have killed them. Is it worth a man , or womans life to be on the high seas engaging in such activities? This is the craziest thing I have ever seen.

  • @Maverick1966 I watched the video and the Ady Gil engines are clearly on with the props running at a low speed then unexpectedly rapidly accelerating when the Shonan Maru No. 2 approached causing the collision. If the Ady Gil had held their coarse and speed then the Shonan Maru No. 2 would have passed without incident! If this was not the facts would not have some court ruled in favor of the Ady Gil captain instead of convicting him of wrong doing?

  • Good job. they have had it coming, now hope the Sea Shepard is next and that fat bearded dh and that pony tailed dh with the glasses. God I would love to confront them face to face.

  • at 0:14 you can see the small boat engine started and they did it on purpose to move forward and hit the large ship

  • No leglislation, no world-ruling which outlaws the murdering of whales in mandated / protected waters, no global agreement, no negotiations, & nothing political will work with these damned bastards. The japs respect no one else; they showed their inherent disrespect & arrogant attitude to the world in the 1930s when they illegally invaded Manchuria & then rudely walked out of The League of Nations when it tried to sanction them. Nothing but hard-lined force will work .. as shown in 1942-45.

  • @Maverick1966 I dont try to stop Mack trucks by running a Mini in front of it, so Im not the dumbass here.

Ady Gil had it coming for a long time.
