Rise to the Occasion! "Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto" on Sauter Piano

Miss Tjokro accompanied by Mr. Edward J. Parker performing Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto on a Sauter piano, courtesy of Mr. Norbert Marten, owner and operator of Heritage Pianos.

The title was inspired by Mr. Linnebach's after-performance comments. Not only had he tuned the powerful Sauter to a pitch-perfect concert level; he also dispatched precious pre-performance advice to further fine-tuned Miss Tjokro's musical performance.

The event was a Piano Recital hosted by the Clef Society for scholarship fund on Sunday, Jan 20-2008 at Shadbolt Art Center, Burnaby. Attended by over 100 patrons, the selected handful of Parker Studio talented young performers, aged 5 to 14,had the rare treat to share their passions on a fabulous, all-German, parts & craftmanship, 7' SAUTER piano.
