I visited there a few days ago & will certainly remember my visit. I am a Civil War & Victorian re-enactor with a huge heart for history & a deep appreciation for preserving the past. I have a Great (x4) Grandfather who fought in almost every major battle & also in the Battle of Franklin. I wondered walking the grounds of Carnton if I saw sights his eyes had seen? He was wounded & captured twice. He was 21 years old when he signed up for war in June if 1861. He
