Yeah the guy I was buying from was Tech-ing for the Doobie Brothers at the time.
He would come in off the road and sell what he brought back. Free stuff really got a nice Austone Millennium Overdrive and a Compressor from him for 35 and 30 dollars Respectively.
Wish I was still getting those deals.

Had a chance to buy a HBE couple a years ago for $30.
Just paid 149 for one after several years.
