oh alrite thx alot...but i have another question...in the video, u said that we can play the major scale from any starting point just as long as we follow the pattern, so does that mean that i can play it starting from lets say a c# note? And for the minor scale, must it always be played in the key of (a)?

@93badfingers You can play any scale starting anywhere. If you start your major scale on C# it's a C# major scale. If you start your minor scale on C# it's a C# minor scale, hope that helps.

Yes, the natural minor is usually just called minor. Using the term "natural" is for drawing the distinction between it and other minor scales which don't share the same notes as the major scale the way the natural minor does.
