@wormmy1 Well I guess my point, badly expressed ( I missed a few words), was that I don't get the reporter saying "That isn't Paleo". It most certainly is. A lacto-ovo-vegitarian can be paleo by leaving out grain, legumes and dairy. It's just a meat-free-paleo. Personally I consider Graham and his cultists just misguided Raw-Vegan Paleo. :D Of course that might be to piss 'em off.
@MichaelnChristine I see what you mean. Maybe an ovo paleo? :) The reporter was thinking more in terms of the foods included (meat, fish, and fowl) rather than the foods omitted. But, yes, I suppose it's possible. Many of the benefits people see on 80/10/10 gets blamed on the omission of animal products when it's actually the omission of non-paleo and processed foods. The people who have problems(I was one of them)would do well to include at least egg yolks or some amount of other animal foods.
Why can't you be a a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian?

@MichaelnChristine You can be one if you want, It just wouldn't be considered a paleo diet by most. Grains, legumes, and dairy aren't paleo foods.
