"Deviation" is the story of one man's attempt at breaking free from a rigid, sterile, OCD-controlled existence. Inspired by a 'Quote of the Day' calendar and an unknown romantic interest, the main character takes little steps everyday to overcome his fear of change and variation. In the end, his efforts give way to a more relaxed lifestyle and a budding relationship. But old habits die hard...

I just want to say thanks. I take this very personal. I took care of my mom for 15 years, which it was great and I love her. But she just passed away at age 83 and only being sick two times in her life and the second was the final she had a major stroke and died in 48 hours after it. But for the last 15 year I built my life around and with her.

I love that he goes for the piece of paper at the end.

That was pleasing and I could relate to it a great deal! I too would have had to pick up the rubbish at the end... though since the character didn't (I hope) rush off to wash his hands, the changes were hopefully to stay!
