Hachez in Bremen is one of the last remaining makers of premium chocolate in Germany. It still roasts and grinds its cocoa beans on site.
Making high-quality chocolate takes time and patience, and machines cannot replicate the skills of its staff. Christian Pricelius visited Hachez during the pre-Christmas rush.
