my laptop will power on with blank screen partially assembled, however, when I completely assemble the laptop I have no power with blank screen. I'm assuming the blank screen is the gpu but the why I have no power completely assembled is beyond me.

Hi can anyone help me? I have a gateway nv54 and it won't turn on. When I plug it in the charging light comes on but it won't power on. I took it apart and looked at the power button and it seams to be fine. Any help would be great. Thanks

my laptop was working fine charging n everything but now it wont charge n the battery is completely dead its not the outlet or the power adapter wut do u recommend

I have that problem but sometimes it will show the charge light I was thinking its the battery? Cuz I have no idea how old the battery is and I bought my AC adapter from eBay and sometimes my charger won't work at all

I was just playing on my laptop till suddenly I noticed the battery was low I plugged in the charger and noticed that nothing happened so I moved it in a certain position and it worked but over the past days I've been having to bend it and move it and put the wires and everything in certain positions I'd have to bend it or hold it In a certain way for it to charge now it's gotten worse im low battery and my mother board is still good and I've checked an my battery is fine my charger is screwed

@ChrisProdLol your charger? look at the voltage etc, write them down. look on ebay for universal chargers with the same you have got a new charger.

hey..my mother board runs with a battery but der seems to be sum problem with the adapter powerin ....many repair shops tried but ended with nothin .....can i supply the power via the battery slot with the required battery voltage ?? reply soon .....

@723dennis you might need a new charging block, always make sure it is the correct supply for your laptop
