Either you need to get off the stilts or that vibraphone needs to be adjusted. :P

I'm playing this tomorrow with the Peninsula Symphonic Band (Palo Alto CA). Great piece. I'll cover the low "E" with my 3 1/2 octave vibe, but this was written (very weird) for a 4-octave instrument although these are very rare. - Mike

Nice work on the mallets. I played this back in high school and have a couple students who have performed it as well.

The tall guy (me) is Robert-Jan van der Vorm. I dont know whether the composer has used any tunes of Lionel Hampton himself. I think he wrote the piece just with his own melodies.
