    That wouldn't be hard, i don't think it's a good idea but it could be easily introduced. You just need a time that works alongside the usual/normal time, let's say that we make gmt the official worldwide timezone, once that is approved you will have to use that time in official documents and such, like if you had to plan that conference, because of that, clocks will be put up featuring the gmt timezone, and it will become more common to everyone, people would get familiar with that time

    That wouldn't work very well at all. There is an episode of How The States Got Their Shapes that explains this very well. But I do agree that daylight savings time is absolutely useless.

    Think how much more beer is drunk during DST afternoon than if there wasn't DST. Not the money saved, but the money won with a longer afternoon is the real reason for keeping this thing. Regards from Brazil.
