That wouldn't be hard, i don't think it's a good idea but it could be easily introduced. You just need a time that works alongside the usual/normal time, let's say that we make gmt the official worldwide timezone, once that is approved you will have to use that time in official documents and such, like if you had to plan that conference, because of that, clocks will be put up featuring the gmt timezone, and it will become more common to everyone, people would get familiar with that time

Energy isn't the only concern with daylight savings. In the north of scotland where they get very little daylight at the best of times they need that hour moved so they can get stuff done at a reasonable light level.

i live in the uk, and even though all of the countries in the uk have the same rules on daylight saving my phone is always an hour out sometimes during British Summer Time. before watching this video i thought the clock on my phone was just rubbish but it turns out it's more complicated than it seems o.O

...wut? I think you are mixing some facts up. It's true days are on average a bit less than 24 hours, but it's not a matter of minutes per day, but seconds per decade. This is why we have leap seconds. Leap seconds have nothing to do with daylight saving time, though. They are inserted on June 30th or December 31th, and they happen simultaneously worldwide.

It's an irregular thing, though. Apparently we have had only 3 leap seconds in the past 15 years, but 8 seconds in the 10 years before that.

How ever, day light saving time is good for the economy in places like Paris and more over, there is less crime (probably)

I choose virtual outside anyday than real outside. Cold air from your airconditioner instead of sweating through two shirts in just 1 hour.
