    Yes, got 1oz weight on the tail of this plane. also this plane doesn't need any thrust angle when mounting the engine. cheers,

    thanks for the advise , the spark plug that came with the engine does look alittle cheep IMHO ,. I hope the cap does turn out to be a rocket like you say , Im trying to keep the weight down to under 17Lbs ...crossing fingers

    let it break in with stock plug since you'll put too much oil in mixture. Then replace it with a NGK.

    17lbs is even lighter than mine! It will be well overpowered for sure. You gonna love it :-)

    nice flying!! ! I have the same engine im puting it in a 27% cap any tips as far as oil type and mixture would be a great help .

    DLE-55 is an amazing engine. I bet your cap will fly like a rocket! I use AMS-oil synthetic 50:1. but used 2 gals of mineral (just regular canadian tire 2-cycle oil) 30:1 for breaking in. Don't forget to replace spark plug with NGK after some time.

    ill keep that in mind T Y for the help!! I weighed her today she came in at 16Lbs 9oz ...keep in mind thats without the receiver , 2 battery packs, and paint on the cowl and wheel pants ... soooo looks like under 17Lbs is just a dream lol..
