A great RC Scale Warbird fly-in at Show-Me Squadron field in Sturgeon, MO. Scale warbirds, multi-engine bombers, some of the best and friendliest RC pilots in the country accompanied by WWII veterans. A great time is had by all.

  • Great video. I am very interested in the F5F skyrocket, it is great to see a large scale one fly. I have just finished one at 100" and would like to contact the owner of the one in your video if possible. Do you have a contact e-mail for him. I have a few questions, like CG location etc.

  • The skyrocket in the video has changed hands again and is owned by someone down in Texas that I am not in contact with. They flew it at Bomber Field outside of Houston this summer (09). I flew it once and it is a very nice flying aircraft. Very docile actually, now I'm not sure how docile it is once an engine is out though...

  • @junkersc10 it's my understanding that that f5f was to be a carrier-based twin-engined fighter due to its speed and maneuverability as well as its nose-mounted package of 5 (i think, or 6) .50 cal MGs. Its chief drawback to its development was that its engines had a nasty tendency to catch fire on start-up (mostly). It was the plane of comic book hero Blackhawk and his squadron in World War II.

  • big enough for me to ride on it!

  • Great Video but again, unnessary censorship by Warner Music Group again!!!!!

  • no sound:(

  • Man this is a great video! Thanks.

  • good vid ... the music should not be that loud, because it's difficult to hear the planes.

    greetings from Germany

  • very cool thank !
