70th anniversary

" For forty-three years of my conscious life I have remained a revolutionist; for forty-two of them I have fought under the banner of Marxism. If I had to begin all over again I would of course try and avoid this or that mistake, but the main course of my life would remain unchanged. I shall die a proletarian revolutionist, a Marxist, a dialectical materialist, and, consequently, an irreconcilable atheist. My faith in the communist future of mankind is not less ardent; indeed it is firmer today, than it was in the days of my youth.

"Natasha has just come up to the window from the courtyard and opened it wider so that the air may enter more freely into my room. I can see the bright green strip of grass beneath the wall, and the clear blue sky above the wall, and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful. Let the future generations cleanse it of all evil, oppression, and violence and enjoy it to the full."
--L. Trotsky

  • Hey Alfie

  • If you want to find where i found the sources of the creation and organization the Red Army you don't have to look that far just read Lenin's books. He can be considered in a way a impartial source because he distrusted both Stalin and Trotsky but he recognized Trotsky's abilities to organize and lead the masses. Stalin only passed to the front line when he started using his political movements to separate the Party and isolate Trotsky. He used Lenin as a political tool too.

  • @azerothblood Same pleasure for me. I would like to know the name of this article, I would be very interrested to read it. It's very normal that stalin wouldn't be able to defeat the white army, Stalin was no military, his war strategy were miserable, but he was an exceptionnal bureaucrat. If your interrested, I will give you a link to a stalinist website, it demonstrate history from a stalinist side. But it's in french. w w w. communisme - bolchevisme . net

  • @MrRedpartisan Read an article on the red army and Trotsky. He imposed discipline into the lines and defeated the white army Stalin wouldn't been able to do this. He changed history and putted himself in the place of Trotsky. His propaganda spread lies and even in Mexico Trotsky was a menace to Stalin so he had him killed. Anyway it is always a pleasure having a debate with a comrade.

  • @azerothblood The red army was created by the bolsheviks, it cannot be the creation of only one man. The red army is the base of every revolution, so when the revolution started the party have created the red army.

  • @azerothblood Yes, but I can also say that stalin have forged completely the USSR it have brought the USSR from a agrarian stade to a complete industrial stade, to a superpower so big that it was able to face the US. And me I prefer to surround myself with diplomat, worker, peasant, doctor, student, intellectual and military, with people of every important branch of the society to be connected with the people. I agree that the army should not have so much power.

  • Who created and trained the Red Army? Trotsky he was a great military leader much more better and diplomatic than Stalin by the way. So without the Red Army they wouldn't be able to defeat the provisional government. And I rather be surrounded by pedantric intellectuals than brainwashed generals, The army should never hold that much power. Trotsky believed in opening the eyes to the proletariat so that they would continue with the revolution.

  • @azerothblood In some way we can say that it had no communist revolution in Russia.

  • @azerothblood His exploitation of the proletariat was not to achieve his political goal, he done that to put the USSR on the map, eniway exploitation for a good or a bad reason is still exploitation and have to be destroyed. The USSR was an empire and it is why I completely despise it. The imperialist politics were started during the reing of lenin so eniway stalin or trotsky it would have continue. Russia was the least ready to make a socialist revolution.

  • @azerothblood Trotsky was not the responsible of the triumph of the revolution, this position goes to the russian people who have fought for themself and for a brighter world, they haven't fought for any puppet like stalin, lenin or trotsky. While Stalin was surounding himself with military to control the population, Trosky was surrounding himself with some pedantic intellectual. Tell me wich one is better? They were both completely disconnected from the reality of the population.
