Metro North Train 1934, the Waterbury Shuttle from Bridgeport to Waterbury, departs north from Seymour Station en-route to Waterbury. Today's consist is a pair of FL9M's back to back with 2016 on the point facing north and 2027 trailing. There are two coaches; Shoreline II 6442 and Shoreline I cab car 6101 (Storm King) facing south. Please excuse the crappy view, as I am standing in the vestibule of the north end of the front car, before the engines, and there is very little room to see much through the car entrance. The video was more or less taken just to hear the engine and the revving of the FL9's 567C. The video was taken on January 7th, 2008. Enjoy the sound of the revving 567C.
its got a K5LA on it too!

@train259. 3 F7A's (620-622) and an F9A (619) were the only ones used. I guess you could say there was a 4th F7A (623). But was never rebuilt, painted or saw any service time. Just used as parts.

@train259
Just to let you know FL9s were never owned by the LIRR. They were borrowed to test out the C1 bi-levels though. LIRR did have F units they were four F7As that were gutted out and had HEP generator in them. This was also done to the Alco FA1 and FA2 engines.
