My point was not that you played factory patterns, but that you didn't show pattern creation, which is the cool thing about this device.
Yes I know that at 1:12 you start playing your own pattern. But anyone interested in learning more about the MD won't get anything out of this video other than seeing you mute and unmute tracks.
You don't even use or show parameter locks, which is what *really* sets the machinedrum apart from all the other gear out there.
This is not a tutorial, this is just a review. People should get an idea what it's like, not learn how to do stuff on it. Of course I could have covered a lot of other stuff. But I didn't. Ha!
Honestly, I didn't find your written review that hot either. You wrote a lot of stuff that didn't make sense (The MD is not "hard to aquire" for example, and it never claims to be sampler)
That aquire line is the work of John Biggs, a major media figure on the Internet. In the un-edited text I was referring that you can't go into a shop and try it out. At least not where I live. It is my first video review so go easy on me. And I appreciate constructive criticism so please, go on.
Hmm... I don't know where you live, YMMV obviously ;) Here in Vienna you can get it in pretty much any store, both Klangfarbe and Friendlyhouse have MDs stocked and on display. That does not mean ALL stores everywhere have it of course ;)

Go on, downrate me...
