John Oliver Simon reads his translation of a poem by Mexican poet Elsa Cross, and shows why Gary Snyder regards his work of this type to be unsurpassed in American letters. This was John's first offering in an extraordinary series offered on the occasion of a reunion of Berkeley poets, sponsored by Byron Coley, and publisher/poet Bree, of Green Panda Press, Nov. 18-20, Amherst, MA.
