@bichimtheboss Back then the system was to starboard the stern. That's why the maneuver was called "port round".

Starboard the stern to turn to port, the port the stern to turn to starboard.

why do the graphics look better on ship sim 2006 than ship sim 2008?, yes i have ship sim 08 on high graphics but 06 still looks better, wtf?!?!

okay, hard to starboard means turn left. in the old days, the till was the object steering the ship. hard to starboard means turn the till towards the right side of the ship, steering the ship left, and vice versa. when the steering wheel came along, turning left meant turn the wheel left, but the old term was still used.
