Great performance musically, but very weak vocals. it sucks when bands play old songs and not do the vocals properly.

Greeeat!!!!!!!! Espetacular!!!! Magnifico!

Why aint he singing it like it was written , he does not sound heavy or brutal like he did on the original recording , that was terrible singing (better than me obviously) but not how it should be !
-
WOAH! 'TF is this? Why even bother? Just don't play it. It sounds like a terrible cover!
-
Well, you know Nick had the same problems as Jonas from Katatonia
-
not growling as it should have been done on a cult song is just pathetic
-
this is fucking crap .. call it how it is ^^

Why doesnt he vocal the way it was written??? I know they arent proud to have ever been in the death metal scene in the beginning days, but that is how it was and that is how they should play it!!!!
Call me oldschool, but old Paradise Lost is the ONLY Paradise Lost!!!!!!
Nick Holmes is not lazy. He's kept a pioneering band going for over 20 years now, with mostly the same lineup, and they've just released one of their best albums, IMO. How many bands have done that?
I have noticed that he doesn't emphasize some of the harder singing live in some o videos. If he growls every night, it is extremely hard on the vocal cords. I don't think he would then be able to do the more melodic singing parts which have been part of their direction for the last 15+ years.

The problem isn't that Nick doesn't growl, (which he obviously hasn't over 15 years, mind you) but that he doesn't even try to do the harsh vocals that were used on ''In Requiem''. He's just lazy.
