I play Haggard

Ron Sweet - He's got the perfect country voice - as good as the best out there. He played locally in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky until he died prematurally a few years ago. He put out a CD titled "Ten in Tennessee", and all 10 songs are as good as this one. I thought I'd put this out there because he is not anywhere else on youtube, and he is damn good. Unfortunately my CD is scratched and jumps a couple of seconds twice. I doubt if it can be replaced.

chiefskis, I bought this cd a few years back from Yesterday and Today Records, Parramatta NSW Australia. They have a web site although no longer at Parramatta, on the other side of Sydney @ Yowie Bay. The guy who owns and runs the shop is Steve Reid, he might still have a copy or knows where he can get you one. Dolton62

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs. Merle Haggard is my favorite singer and this is a wonderful tribute song. I wish I could find more of Mr. Sweet's work.
