Chapter 23- Friends or Fame

Joes POV

Okay, so yes Sasha was NOT going to get to me. I mean shes just eww.....no way would I even think about her like that. Nu uh! Sarah did help a lot, but the worries still hadnt gone away. What I was worried about was the normal life. If we did get famous, which I doubted that we wouldnt (kind of ironic now) then I was pretty sure that we wouldnt be able to keep contact with our family and friends like we do now. Well, yes we would call and meet each from time to time but things wouldnt be the same I feared. And guess what? I was right. Anyways I shook that thought off my head and stood up.
"Wanna go for a walk?" I asked Sarah putting my arm out for her.
"Urm, sure!" she said grabbing it and getting up. We walked around the block talking about people from school and stuff about the band. I loved talking to Sarah, I could talk to her about anything. She was really great like that. For example that time when I was scared of asking this girl from school, Brae, on a date. Rah was there for me, she gave me advise and helped me to pick an outfit. I am forever grateful to her for that but the date didnt really turn out as planned!

Well what happened was Brae was a bit, how do you put it without sounding really bad? Urm, weird? Well way more weird, she was just plain strange, not even in the funny sense. So I told her the truth and she was okay with it. Phew. We talked a bit more about the usual stuff and weird things like is the glass empty or half full. Dino always said half full meaning that she was an optimistic person, which she was. Her ambition was to one day be in the Olympic swimming team or go into the medical profession, she wasnt quite sure which route she wanted to take. Me, well I wanted to become a comedian! What? I can make people laugh so I could. Hell I still can. However I chose to become a singer which was also a good choice!
"Its getting dark," she said, reminding me of the time. Whenever I used to spend time with her, I just lost track of everything. It was like nothing really ever seemed to matter, well except family of course, and Mandy.
"Lets go home," I said whilst grabbing her hand. We skipped back home, acting like a bunch of loonies and scaring the old people on our street!
"John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt," I started off, then Sarah busted out laughing before singing along too.
"His name is my name toooooo! "
"Whenever I go out, the people always shout THERE GOES JOHN JACOB JINGLE HEIMER SCHMIDT ALALALALALALA!" Ahh good times!

We entered in my house still laughing and pushing each other, we probably looked like drunkards!
"Woah there Prince Hyper and his princess where have you been?" asked Mom, pfftshe wasnt my princess!
"Out....just you know walking!" then Sarah giggled which made me giggle which made her laugh which made me laugh...kinda like a demented couple.
"Okay stop it, you sound...freaky, "said Kevin coming into the room.
"We do dont we?" asked Sarah.
"Yeah." I sighed
"So what do guys have planned for tonight?" asked Uncle Kevin. I looked at Sarah who looked at Kevin, who looked back at me. Weird
"ESPN! Sport night!" we all said simultaneously. It was a Friday night, so it was traditionally sports night.
"Whats on?" asked Sarah as we all plopped ourselves down on the sofa surrounding the TV.
"Lakers match!" I replied all pumped up. We spent the whole night watching the basketball game, like we always used to. But one thing was still in my mind, I wouldnt be able to have such a good time like this with my friends when I become famous, right?
