my only question is that how are you able to obtain 2 hours of video on youtube, also great tut, i was going to use this program instead of buying the expensive corel painter.

The +2 hours thing is a YouTube partner thingy...

Yeah, ArtRage is nice and cheap, and everything I do in this video can be done with the free version. Works on Mac and PC, as well!

Sorry but imho the tiger was a major fail. The only thing I paint is cats and I could list so much that was wrong with your painting anatomically.

I'm sure you know how to use layers. You'd find them immensely useful for a pic like this. For example, you could do more work on the sky without disturbing the trees and hills. At 1.15 ish the sky looks like sea, and the sun/cloud like some kind of whirlpool. Hard to correct now you have so much over it, but with layers, it'd be easy.

Love this video. Is there a version that isn't fuzzy somewhere? Fifteen minutes in, I find myself squinting to bring the screen into focus--but of course, that won't help! lol

@duplinger this guy doesnt use a tablet PC, just a tablet ( like a touch pad connected to his computer) and its a wacom cintiq
