Nord keyboards are actually really good. They are not your typical electronic keyboards. Nothing against you, but this clip does not do the keyboard justice.

The singer is better than the keyboard. Actually is strange listening a NOrd sounding that way. The sound is good but is not the field where you expect it.

i diddit my way...........

There are various demo's on my website / YouTube channel.
I didn't say anything bad about the performance. Nothing wrong if YOU can't hear the compression artefacts, though.
random question...what kind of stand is that that you're using? I'm a composer and it looks perfect for laying some manuscript paper on as I write.

Pretty typical "X" stand, with provisions to add a second tier. The second tier has been modified to be a music desk.

Nice playing, cheesy pad though.
The Stage piano sound can be extremely dynamic, so I hope it's your videocam squashing the sound to death.
Something's very wrong with compression release here.

We usually put text in that states that it is simply recorded using the camera's built in mic. (check other vids) so the compression issues are Panasonic's fault.
"Cheesy pad"? It's cool if you don't like it (everyone has their own fav flavor) but what's the negative vibe for?

still waiting for a before preamp demo & an after preamp demo-who can tell the difference when there is nothing to compare it to?

A better option would be to go and seek out the opinions of your fellow players - hit the mailing lists and so forth. This is more to let folks see Steve in action, and to let it be known that we have this system. Once the sound gets mashed to death by the cam, YouTube compression, and "who knows what" speakers on the viewers computer - who can tell ANYTHING?
