@istiiizzz The way that we treat it after BBQ is unique for Iranian! Plus it is just typical for Iran that you see people selling BBQ maize in the parks and streets. At least, I've never seen somewhere else

@gssagir No! Kebab is from middle east and has different types. Most of them come from Persia but the whole area had adapted this food with their own culture and then it became world wide. read kebab in wikipedia

Please tell me, as an American (woman) is it 'safe' to travel to Iran? I've been longing to go for such a long time. I dated an Iranian (Jew) back in the 1980's! I still remember a few things :o))

@mountainsandsea However, you have to be aware to avoid any suspicious activity like going around prisons or military places or taking photo from polices or some specific locations! Otherwise, you will enjoy traveling in Iran. By the way, I am student in Europe and since 2009 I have not been in Iran but my family are living there.
