"Yes. Microsoft invested heavily in the 360 warranty program. And, yes, the Jasper mobo released in late 2008 raises the 360's reliability bar. The problem is that Microsoft repair centers mostly swap in old motherboards rather than replace them with Jaspers, leading to repeated RROD incidents."
