My boyfriend received this dvd as a gift for Christmas and we both watched it the other night.
I'm from France and am a musician and knew a bit about the culture but this documentary brought tears to my eyes, it was amazing.
I recommend this to anyone, regardless of your background etc...A MUST SEE!!!!

Fatih Akin is a great director. To my way of thinking, he is the best in Germany in modern times! (Er ist zurzeit der beste Regisseur in Deutschland!)
He deserved all awards in 2004! (Best German & European Film, "Goldener Bär" - The Golden Bear, Crowd Favourite and more)
Wonderful connection between story & music. Films with great actors/actresses & amazing stories.
All worth of being seen!
