Is it just me, or was this one of the only Disney movies where the two people actually got to know each other before going off and getting married? I know the other ones were really close to the original fairy tale, but it seems in a lot of them it was like "Oh you brought me my shoe, Lets go get married" or "Ooh you kissed me and woke me up Lets go get married"

I've read a book with a near enough same story line- NOT The frog prince, I read that at 5 or something. The frog princess is almost as good as the princess and the frog!

@vegiluvsvball In The Little Mermaid.. Ariel and Prince Derek did date before hand. Mulan and Shang worked together and saved China before marriage. Meg and Hercules went on several dates before they presumably got married.

Anyone else wonder why Tiana was rowing with a twig? Alligators row themselves, and she must be the world's strongest frog if she can push Louis off of trees and around corners with only a twig.

@vegiluvsvball Beauty and the Beast had a great build up of Belle finding that Beast had good in his heart, despite his monster image, and they fell in love.

Other than that, you're pretty spot on. But usually traditional adapted princess and prince movies were always set up that with no emotional build up between the two because it was unnatural.
