This video is to encourge us all to join in Brooklyn's SIXTH ANNUAL CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM PEACE WALK which will be held Thursday June 11 starting at 4 pm, starting witha tour of the school at 675 4th Avenue (Near 21 Street) & leaving 5 pm to Kholot Cheinu/Church of Gethsemane, others including Beth Elohim, & Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture where food will be served. This year we are also showing a film "Cities of Light" which is part of the Many Religions One Community Initiative & highlights the Golden Age of Tolerance Among Abrahamic Faiths in Spain.
The Walk was founded to address tension in the community after 9/11-- co-founders included Debbie Almontaser, Rabbi Ellen Lippman, and Rev Tom Martinez. Many thanks to all sponsors!
