I just finished playing FF6 for the first time. I can see why a lot of fans like it. It was really good. The story isn't too hard to grasp and the characters were all cool storywise and gameplay wise.

I personally prefer the GBA version for better translation and more content. but original SNES is great too.

This game is proof that you don't need good graphics to have a great game. They story and gameplay is what keeps people hooked, if they remade this game even with VII's old PS1 graphics I'd buy it... Great game, awesome gameplay, memorable characters, engaging story, screw most of the newer RPGs anymore, the 90's is where its at! l

Best game of its day IMO. When you consider the utter quality of this masterpiece you can't help but be amazed it resided on a 16-bit cartridge. And the music... I remember being thunder struck by the ending as a kid. I loved 6 and 7 but the original SNES ending of 6 made a much stronger impact on me.
