This was "new country" before country music was labeled "new". Saw the HPB 3 times; they were one of the most under rated Southern Rock bands around. Billy Crain was an awesome guitarist. In some ways the HBP 3rd album Anytime sounded more commercial than Grey Ghost or Feel the Heat, but still flew under most FM station's radars. What a shame, Hollywood Paradise is a smoking tune
went to school with Henry...grew up in the same neighborhood from Jr. High and through High School.......He's so talented and so happy to see him having success and still going strong.......Sandi
Anytime is one of my personal "Ten Best" albums. Great road music, hard driving, and must be played LOUD. I saw this tour and they were opening for Rossington/Collins. Blew them away, the guitarists were ALL over the stage and switching leads. Been in love with them ever since.
Feister & Crain were flying under the radar they were a top notch Duo who many were and still are not aware of. Wally Dentz was also a complete Pro multi-tasking like a MFer out there
I've been listening to Paul since the first Oulaws album back in the good old days. The HPB is one of the all time great Southern bands and this video is a real treat.
I'm a reporter in rural Virginia and Blackhawk recently played here. I asked for...and got an interview. What a rush, sitting on a tour bus talking with one of my all time heroes. And, about as laid back and easy going as you'll ever run across.
Thanks for posting and if you've got more, please keep them coming.
I will never forget going to see Johnny Van Zant Band, The Outlaws, and Molly Hatchet at SummerJam. We got their to find out that Danny Joe Brown had left, and Jimmy Ferrar had taken vocals. Boy did we feel ripped off. But a great show anyway.
HPB was great to see in clubs. First row many times. Im going to see Blackhawk at A FRIENDS PARTY IN NASHVILLE. Love this song.

Such a great song, everyone on the stage so very, very talented!!!!!! And an outlet to keep the memory of David Michael Fiester going as well.
