Kill 2 Dr. Salvadors, and you win a ruby and 10,000 pesetas. It's tough, and will deplete your ammo somewhat (Helps to use a grenade and a Willy Pete* on one of them), but it's worth it.
*-My nickname for incendiary grenades.
