I have the 50s recording of the entire opera with Leonard Warren; it has been one of the treasures of my life. This rendition is worthy of that recording, and there can be no higher compliment. Staggeringly wonderul.

I wonder why they didn't release this take? When you sing this well at 76(born in 1904) its totally remarkable.
