Some 'Glenn' facts:
1: A young Glenn Campbell walked into the Fender factory and asked Forrest White if Fender would sponsor him with a guitar and amp. Don Randall (Sales Director) was consulted and he decided not to sponsor an unknown.
2: Glenn was a one time member of the Beach Boys and played lead guitar on Good Vibrations.
3: Glenn is a hot guitar player and in demand for many studio sessions.

I'll bet you could crack an egg on Glen's lacquered 'do.

@aldridgester Straight from Wikipedia: "He was a touring member of the Beach Boys, filling in for Brian Wilson in 1964 and 1965. He played guitar on the group's Pet Sounds album, among other recordings. On tour, he played bass guitar and sang falsetto harmonies." So, I think when the poster above said "a one time member" that it certainly is a correct statement. While yours stating he "did not record at all with the BB" is totally incorrect.

Glenn Campbell was only a "member" of the Beach Boys on the road. He did not record at all with the BB and did not play guitar on Good Vibrations, except maybe in concerts

I can certainly tell the gentleman down below that he is certainly not gay, I grew up with him and went all through grade school with him in Delight,Ar. before moving to North little Rock High school and yes he is one of the best guitar players anywhere and still sings just as wonderful as ever. You guys that write on here should look for the good in a person instead of going out of your way to spread gossip and untruths. God bless you Glen, sincerely Jack Reeves

The Alamo in the background is from John Wayne's "The Alamo" which finished filming Dec, 1959. I was released in 1960. And then there is the "True Grit" connection between Glenn and John Wayne.

Never been a Glen Campbell fan, but he did a great job here. Bob, on the other hand, was known as a pure dick, and nothing I saw has changed my mind.
I met Glen Campbell in 1960. He was the "star" at the opening of a music store in Whittier, CA.
