  • @patrikasLTL Probably farmed it out to the Russians... y'know, like their current manned space program. :)

  • @ Sergant "Soap" MacTravish is speaking! :)

  • @benawl why ?

  • Legasov was chemist not physicist

  • Back then it was all USSR, not Ukraine or Russia. Immesurable disaster. And something Japanese authority havn't understood yet to make better and faster decisions...

  • @vanharmelen Is going to get a cyst drained something he does on a regular basis?

In the US, most people would never see the $800 bill.

We could probably purchase health insurance with the taxes you pay beyond what we pay.

People who are impoverished would generally get the care, anyway, even though they can't pay.

  • @bbouch111 Ehm, we in Holland have national healthcare and we're pretty damn happy with it! My boyfriend is from America and he is amazed every time he goes to the doctor that he doesn't have a 800 dollar bill just from getting a cyst drained or what not. In the land of the free you should have the right to go to a doctor whenever you want to. Not only when you're rich. Over here anyone can go to the doctor, get surgery and treatments they need, without being in debt for the rest of their lives.

  • @thezuke "do you realize not letting banks fail that are rotten goes against ALL of capitalisms ideas and the free market? maybe for that he is."

So do labor unions and welfare.

  • @SirRobertDole2 Good point. Coincidentally, I was just thinking that if it were underground and it exploded, it would make the explosive force even more powerful. Like how a bomb gets more powerful the stronger its casing is. And the blast radius would increase by a lot, too. It would do more local damage, but it wouldn't form a cloud of radioactive particles that can contaminate all of Europe like Chernobyl.
