As our society has become more vocal to ensure the equality and normality of homosexual lifestyle, the Christian community at large has grown strangely silent. History has bore witness to the fact that where there is moral silence, there is moral confusion which produces immoral entrapment. The Bible is not silent about the issue of homosexuality nor the power of God to break the stronghold of its presence off the lives of those ensnared by it.

@seventru if gay people could change to being straight, then why is it that so many end up committing suicide because they are trying so hard to be someone they aren't? And, why are even so many "ex-gay" ministries going down? The leaders themselves are saying that you CANNOT change and they have closed their doors. And, it is a FACT that you are BORN gay. A medical fact. Homosexuality has been around since the BEGINNING of time. Animals of every kind are gay, too. Not just people.

@seventru Ok, I will let YOU ask God to change YOUR sexual ORIENTATION (meaning something that you are BORN with). And, see how much YOU change. Nobody tried harder to change than I did. That was a while back when I BELIEVED what the people in the church were telling me. Now, I know better. I wanted to change because I wanted to please God AND didn't want to go to hell. Now, I know that God loves me "just as I am." And, so do I. You don't CHOOSE who to be gay anymore than you chose to b str8.

As the old saying goes "you can't handle the truth" Homosexuality is a form of bondage, sexual sin that is apart from the plan God has for your life. It is a choice! If you ask God to change your heart and the nature of your sinful ways and believe that "ALL" things are possible through Christ, then it SHALL BE DONE! It is a daily effort to surrender and yeild to the will of God. Don't be lured and misled by the tricks of this world. They only keep you from your true destiny! MAyGODblESS.

I like that the very first words that comes out of this guys mouth are incorrect and lies and ignorant. x.x And he's like "the origin can be traced back to..." and I'm like "...genes?" then he goes on to start talking about some made up, unrelated "sinful nature" crap that just makes me want to vomit. What the hell, man? What the hell?

The attempted explanations of homosexuality are irrelevant and totally fabricated personal theories it seems.

Using a book that brandishes everything from eating shellfish to women not covering their heads as a sin, unsurprisingly, any human will be regarded as having a "sinful nature". If you list enough things as sins, everybody is "sinful".

Murder, theft etc are completely unrelated to homosexuality as they involve deliberate harm to others, homosexuality doesnt.

Hows sin defined?
