@StrangeShadesOfBlack absolutely right. this piece is very similar to "Meetings of the Spirits" by John McLaughlin. Paco himself said that he is very inspired By musicians like McLaughlin and Chick Corea.
-
R u serious?John is the guy that INSPIRED the piece.have heard Meeting of the spirit.It is the same rythmic motiv in 12/8(6/4) grooped in 5 - 5 -2.This shaped doesnt exist in fflamenco.Paco took it from john.they used to play together meeting of the spirit.In the middle it is alsoi the exact same chords played the same way as meeting(this is also to the moron who said that john cant play the apregio)

Why is it I can only click "Like" once? I like it way more than that.

you have to be a decent guitar player to even grasp how advanced technically these guys are. This is like guitar for the 25 century or something... maybe we will catch up by then! I love the quote by Mark Knophler when he says "Paco can do anything we do but we can't do ANYTHING he does"
-
Dios, esto no viene a cuento, pero ¿no veis un pequeño parecido entre Paco y Sergio Ramos?
-
@CityOfIdeas Not really. But this is a very good interpretation - much better than the one on the album.
-
@killerdll It's conversation, not competition.
If Paco only played with people in his league, he wouldn't play duets!
-
@killerdll are you kidding???
-
i love john but sadly i think hes out of his league here. He doesnt really add much to this composition .....
seriously they are talking to eachother! its like a guitar conversation! so perfect!
