One Lonesome Saddle is a self-released album by Ray Lamontagne. A small number of copies were given away and sold to various people before Ray Lamontagne instructed the albums producer Carl Franklin (no relation to film director and actor) to "Bury the recordings".

  • Mis-allocation of talent by the universe. Somehow Ray got his and everyone else's share as well. Absolutely brilliant and true artist!

  • This guy is the best thing thing out there. Best I've ever seen anyway- song after song makes me smile. He has yet to do me wrong.

  • His first song that incouraged him to quit his job in a shoe factory was a song called " Tree top flyer" by Stephen stills ... check it out and hear his infulence on this song :) beautiful

  • This makes me long for a time when life may have been harder, but it was simpler. The world is just too damn complicated these days. The blues are the only shred of simplicity we have left.

  • This song should be in a movie...or they could, the movie company, could make a movie from this song...what you think?

  • Why did he want the recordings buried?

  • Heard about Ray, but this is the first tune I've heard and now I am a fan.
