  • It's balance. Except if you have thyroid problems...you should not have soy with thyroid challenges.

  • @jhillst good question, considering that EVERYTHING now a days has soy in various forms.

  • soy is good. for those allergy u should not have it. which one u prefer to eat, soy or hamburger? lol

  • @peaveyblazer158 I live fairly close to monsanto. It's horrible. They have run-off into the Missisippi river, just imagine were all that stuff goes and what it does to plant and animal life. The plant itself stinks. I'm sure a very large percentage of soybeans are now GMO.

  • i believe that soy is a gmo you can thank Monsanto . soy is not good for you at all look up soy and poison. has any noticed that soy is in every thing

  • Other popular arguments in support of soy state that fermented products, like tempeh or natto, contain high levels of vitamin B-12. However, these supportive arguments fail to mention that soy's B-12 is an inactive B-12 analog, not utilized as a vitamin in the human body. Some researchers speculate this analog may actually serve to block the body's B-12 absorption.

  • "Good quality soy" that's like saying there's a better game of Russian Roulette. Gerson's study of soy is what I'm sticking to.

  • Scientists fed about 500 mg of hexane to lab rats for 90 days and found no adverse effects. Even if veggie burgers were to lose none of the volatile hexane during cooking, it would take more than 353,000 veggie burgers a day to reach that level, adjusted for human body weight. At 2,000 mg of the solvent over the 90-day period, the rats started to show some neurological problems. That's about 1.4 million veggie burgers per person, per day.
