The controversial retroactive continuity (retcon) decision for Amazing Spider-Man will be making waves in the comic book community for the foreseeable future. We wanted to give this important event a little more attention, so we sat down and talked it out. this brand new day story is fucking garbage.....and why did joe have to end parker's marriage?????? they was plenty of great stories when the were married such as "maxium Carnage" and the Clone Sagas......now i pick up this brand new day comic and see this shit!!!! ill choose the old comics any day over this shit....they should recall this whole series...somebody get the word out because this is throwing alot of dirt on spidey's name...

What a terrible book. Peter Parker is the worst person in the world now in the worst comic book, now. Plus they promised us big stories about a Spider-man with no secret identity, what did we get? Garbage.

Who cares about this empty-headed character who has no morals or decency and would sooner make pacts with satan than tell the truth?

Spider-Man comics has not had a good run after the Clone Saga. It seemed like every Spider-Man story was garbage after that long arc. Hell, and it's not even the stories, Spider-Man himself, the character, got dumber and dumber as well. Making stupid-ass decisions all the time. In fact, right now he is one of my least favorite characters. It's very hard to like this guy anymore.

I like brand new day but honestly after much thought, I think it would be best to never allow peter to fall in love again. because every time he finds "the one" and gets close to marrying her, something catastrophic happens and it creates a huge change in the marvel universe forever!! (Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane) maybe he should just have flings with Black Cat and spare himself of all the craziness.

Lets be serious now. this may sound kinda weird, but I was a huuuuuuuuuge Spidey fan when I was a kid. Still am of course, but back then this guy was my friggin hero. Now my "role-model" is making deals with a FUCKING DEMON to save his Aunt May, who I didn't even give a shit about when I was like 6. For fucks sake, the woman was already dying of heart decease 30 YEARS AGO!!! Bringing her back reaaally made sense.

Alright so Spidey reveals his identity. Then immediately makes a deal with Mephisto so nobody remembers his identity and he doesnt know MJ. Then when he meats MJ they hint that MJ actually remembers peter but prove that untrue. What was Joe thinking?
