LE RAGAZZE DI YEOVILLE
Johannesburg, Sudafrica
Terminato il regime dell'apartheid, i bianchi hanno abbandonato molte aree della città, tra cui il sobborgo di Yeoville, a sudest. Oggi questo quartiere è diventato il più cosmopolita della metropoli, un concentrato di tutti i mali d'Africa: Yeoville è il capolinea di immigrati e profughi che arrivano da ogni parte del continente.
Gli abitanti censiti sono 40 mila; quelli realmente presenti, almeno il doppio.
Per nessuno è facile vivere a Yeoville. Per una ragazza, può essere l'inferno.

As soon as the apartheid regime had ended, white people left many areas of the town, including south-eastern Yeoville suburb. Today, this neighbourhood has become the most cosmopolitan in the city, concentrating any Africa's evil: Yeoville is now the final terminal of immigrants and refugees from all over the continent.
According to official statistics, 40 thousand people live here. But the real number is at least doubled.
Life here is not easy. For a girl, it could be hell.
