Afternoon Commute at Santa Clara

This is what a typical afternoon commute looks like at Caltrain Santa Clara Depot for an hour starting around 4:25pm. UP's MRVSJ showing up in the middle of all this was a nice bonus. Sound system with good bass is recommended to hear MRVSJ's GEVO's notch up.

Track speed is 79 mph for passenger, 40 mph for freight.

Canon ZR series DV camera. I only use unenhanced optical zoom, so 37x.

don't some of the Caltrain F40PH's and MP36's have P5 horns.

I haven't heard any 5 chime on Caltrain, but it's possible they've had them in the past.

@tyronewright64 It is a baby bullet, now Caltrain only uses available consists for the baby bullet service, and they do try to get their bombardier sets ready for it, but there isn't enought baby bullet consists for each baby bullet service.

Only thing out here I know of with a P5 is CDTX Cabcar 8306

They come trhough that station at some speed, so I'm surprised to see that the only way you can get to the other tracks is by crossing the track.

they did have K5la's on Cab Cars and f40's in 1991 1992 but not since then the Caltrains sound too much like Metrolink BOOO
