In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, with a first-class [Arabic] accent.

The opening lines of the Adhan is the Shahada:

Allah is Supreme...I witness that there is no god but Allah..."

According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim! This statement expresses a Muslims complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam.

15 minutes on google and your an instant expert. Obama refuses to be sworn into office with his hand on the Christian bible. He used the Koran. He lied about being a member of that church for however many years. He joined it when he took office as a senator. His name translates into something that makes sense in Arabic, such as the name joshua in hebrew means the "grace of God."
