smokeys goodbye video

I had this pony for almost a year, the most amazing time of my life, he took me to my first one day event, took us from almost dead last to placing fifth overall, he taught me to be patient, and to not give up, because we definately went through some challenging times, he taught me how to stick like glue, my mum once getting the comment as i take an amazing save from half off the side to getting myself back into the saddle, 'does your daughter have glue on her bum or something?' everywhere we went he brought attention to himself, 'what a pretty pony'. he taught me so so much, and i never really got to thank him for it.

he gave me my wings, sent my always lacking confidence flying high. he made me believe in myself.. i have never ever felt a connection with any other horse quite like the one i had with him..

words can't describe what this horse meant to me, but i trusted him like nothing else, i'd gallop him bareback in a halter, sit on him in his paddock with no way or controling him, walk under his stomach, rest his legs on me.. he truly was an amazing pony.

i will always remember him as my little feral,
