At the 2010 Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, I came across Bruce Timm. The creator of the animated Batman series from the 90's. After waiting in line for 45min, I got his 2nd last sketch of the morning. He was out of paper, his markers were almost empty and he was very tired! I hope my friend really likes the sketch!

  • Why wasn't he just using 'Chartpak' Markers? It would have taken him 1/2 the time! AND they won't run out as quickly. All of his markers were running out left & right. :P

  • @Eszlee1 Not sure. He was just using whatever the volunteers at the expo were bringing him.

  • did you know he's entirely self tought

  • @LongJonBronze That wouldn't surprise me

  • What was he doing at 3:22 ?

  • @dbzfanattack1 He's erasing all the pencil lines so that all you see are the black marker.

  • Why didn't he just use that Sharpie pack??

  • @LongJonBronze Ummm who are like "really big people"? I find it disturbing when just average people make other people into "really big people". And then it's "like" amazing when really big people just act like normal people. Like...to see Patrick Stewart order a double latte? That would be awesome. "Make it so", he says....and then like this really hot like alien chick would come in and she had these really big......oopps sorry, I got to go my mom came home.

  • @cab00se447 is he drawing using pencil at first?

  • @LongJonBronze thanks for the comment its been great having this little chat, you've earned a subscription

  • @LongJonBronze Long John, THATS a response I can appreciate! thank you so much for NOT doing what som many people do, and "blasting me for having an opinion!LOL! you are correct. We can BOTH agree that Bruce is awesome. He certainly has influenced my art tremedously.

  • @TheSubwaysurfer while i still disagree (slightly with what you said thank you for replying, i can tell you are a smart professional person, but in full honesty i like when big people like Bruce Timm do this, there being real people, but not being mean or selfish, but that's just my opinion, but i think we can both agree that Bruce Timm is awsome

  • @TheSubwaysurfer: totally agreed!
