No one said anything about government data or pharmaceutical companies or the news media.

Global warming data is well refuted or misinterpreted. Unemployment data is very accurate, but they have a funny meaning for unemployment. Same goes for economic data, but it is also misinterpreted, usually intensionally.

You, on the other hand, ignore the data.

Self-Centered &stubborn or not a dumb sheep?Data given by gov't has often been found to be innacurate. Flu data helps get people to take flu shot ea. year which lines the pockets of pharma co. Today news report that they are using a drastic procedure to treat H1N1 never used before for reg. flu. Doesn't sound same to me. Believe what you want, I am neither self-centered or stubborn I just believe in thinking for myself. Global warming, unemployment, economy....well accepted data-

Flu + Swine Flu > Flu. Isn't it obvious? It's a very well known statistic that isn't very disputed, so the likelihood of it being way off is low.

Personal experiences trumping well accepted data means, to me, self-centered and stubborn. No offense.

Please tell me where I can go other than the CDC or other gov't entity to verify that info. Actually, never mind I wouldn't believe it anyway. Personal experience means more to me than supposed figures that can be fudged. As I said I have never personally known so many people in any given year to have flu like I have this year. And everyone who has had it say it not like any flu they have ever had! But what do we know.

Regular flu affects many more people and kills many more people than swine flue, as do a number of other diseases. You just don't hear about it in the news and there's no hysteria because it has happened many times before.
