This video was shot on a very windy, wet morning in Seattle, so the audio is a little rough. Rutgers is an incredible new pup to rescue. He's about 9 months old, knows basic commands, is fine with other dogs and is so willing to please his person. Rutgers was raised with children and cats and came from a very loving, caring home who did everything they could for him. Rutger has apprehension difficulties when meeting new people in new settings, and will need someone with a strong commitment to behavior modification to help him work through his fearfulness. Thankfully, he appears to have no aggression or dominance issues. Rutger just needs someone with experience in dealing with dogs with this problem. With time and patience, Rutger will be an outstanding canine and forever loyal companion.
